37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: £24,032.00 + Benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across the Southeast of England. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.

We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join their team of staff.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

  • Good numerical skills
  • Manual handling is an essential function of this role.
    Must have good Administration/ computer skills

Duties of this role include:

  • To assist in the answering of calls from customers
  • To utilise the booking systems for the loaning of power tools and instrument sets between different hospitals, theatres and decontamination center's and co-ordinate the delivery of power tools and instrument sets to all sites
  • To effectively communicate any potential failures in power tool and instrument supply to the senior team.
  • To co-ordinate repairs and service contracts under direction as required
  • To order and co-ordinate the storage of supplies ensuring adequate stocks are maintained at all times.
  • To produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Decontamination Manager and maintain timesheet records
  • To maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
  • To promote and maintain Health & Safety within the department
  • To maintain the accepted Health & Safety requirements for the protection of staff and visitors
  • To ensure that all activities are in accordance with the Company’s Policy and Procedures
  • To complete all Learning Space modules in a timely manner
  • To be flexible to the developing and changing needs of the role and adapt accordingly
  • To perform any other tasks or related duties as reasonably required.
