We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team of staff in the Marketing department.
This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

- Highly self-motivated with ability to drive change
- Ability to take concepts and deliver
- Strong accountability and can-do mind-set
- Results driven
- Degree educated
- Proven influencing and sales skills
- MS Office particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strategy development and implementation
- Experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans · Good negotiation skills
Duties of this role include:
- In line with the corporate and hospital operational plan, work in conjunction with the Executive Director and other members of the senior management team to devise and implement a sales and marketing strategy, which ensures the delivery of budgeted activity across all payor groups.
- Produce and maintain the hospital sales and marketing tactical action plan, detailing key initiatives which will drive sales performance.
- Produce and maintain monthly and other regular reports monitoring sales and marketing performance, identifying trends and acting upon them appropriately.
- Ensure that the key drivers of predicted activity levels are understood and acted upon in a timely fashion to ensure optimum sales performance.
- Support the implementation and tracking of a senior management team-wide Consultant account management programme to grow hospital business and mitigate risks to growth, including initiatives to acquire new Consultants and specialties and to help support and grow Consultants’ practices.
