We have an opportunity for a Consultant Relations Manager to join their team of staff.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Project management skills.
  • Experience of customer relations management/ business to business sales.
  • Experience gained in healthcare or medical/pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong IT skills to include Outlook, Word & Excel programmes.
  • Degree level education or equivalent would be preferred.

Duties of this role include:

  • You act as Key Account Manager for consultants in the hospital.
  • You lead activities in relation to the recruitment, practice development and retention of consultants for the hospitals, and liaise with SMMs to co-ordinate consultant activities with GPs/ practices and other identified customer groups.
  • You create, deliver and manage a consultant communication strategy.
  • You build relationships with new and existing consultants to deliver operational excellence, business opportunities and carry out activity reviews.
  • You deliver a strategic business plan for the hospitals to drive revenue growth. 
  • You perform a cluster role with a dual site focus.
  • You respond positively and effectively to queries, complaints and challenges from consultants ensuring timely resolution and consultant satisfaction.
  • You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
