This is a Full time role for 37.5 hour per week. Part time hours are also available and for the right candidate we will consider flexible working.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, however they must be willing to travel nationally for team meetings.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Up to date knowledge of health and safety, fire safety, and environmental legislation, codes of practice and guidance.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent 
  • Able to travel and work in multiple locations across the organisation and the United Kingdom.

Duties of this role include: 

  • Lead the H&S provision with the Circle Health portfolio.
  • Provide H&S integrated audit support across the company.
  • Provide competent H&S support and assistance.
  • Provide support in managing the regulatory aspects of environmental compliance.
  • To formulate, deliver, review and report on the H&S plan for the business.
  • To provide policy and procedure formulation and maintain up to date and reflecting legal and organisational changes.
  • To provide management level communication and Interface with Regional Directors and Hospital Executive Directors.
  • Being an ambassador for the Estates team on site, ensuring high and consistent standards are adopted in day to day works.
