IT Systems Engineer
Full Time - Permanent

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Salary: Up to £42,000.00 per annum

We have an opportunity for an IT Systems Engineer to join their team of staff in the Group IT department.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Good (3+ years) experience within a medium/large organisation (~£500M+ annual revenue, 6,000+ end-users, 40+ different locations).

  • Good (3+ years) experience in Systems technologies such as: Windows Active Directory Services/Federation Services, Windows Server operating systems, Server hardware, SAN & storage solutions and architecture, Virtualisation technologies, LAN & Windows networking, Backup solutions, Asset and patch management systems, Server monitoring and performance, Scripting and task automation & Capacity planning

  • Good (3+ years) experience with Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure (Office 365, Outlook/Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams & AZURE, AWS) technologies.

Duties of this role include: 

  • Monitor, maintain and develop the systems and server environments ensuring the availability, reliability, scalability, performance and recovery of services.
  • Undertake typical break fix and support activities on all server and systems related infrastructure.
  • Perform general maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Establish and maintain the IT Systems policies, procedures, and other relevant documentation.
  • Take ownership of systems related incidents and problems.
  • Deliver the highest levels of support to Circle Health Group’s central infrastructure and other business critical Systems
  • Support the delivery of major server, systems and cloud-based projects and change programmes.
  • Own and maintain delivery of the established server infrastructure objectives.
  • Actively participate in escalations to and from the wider IT Service Delivery team as required.
  • Participate in ensuring compliance of IT Service Management processes and practices within the wider IT Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
