Regional NHS Development Manager            
37.5 Hours & Permanent

Fully Remote/WFH

We have an opportunity for a Regional NHS Development Manager to join their team of staff. This is a fully remote/WFH role, however the successful candidate must live in the North of the UK and be willing to travel to our sites located in the North.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of the NHS Contract either as a Provider or Commissioner.
  • Experience working with Independent Sector Providers.
  • Detailed understanding of the NHS Commissioning, including but not limited to, NHS Contract types and mechanisms, NHS Payment Systems and Funding mechanisms.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence and educate stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Capable of understanding and disseminating complex information.
  • Able to work under pressure, to changeable deadlines.
  • Strong numerical literacy including ability to use excel analytically.
  • Degree educated.

Duties of this role include:

  • You work as part of the NHS Team to identify, develop and deliver NHS growth opportunities.
  • As part of the NHS Team you will identify risks to delivery of NHS contracts and advise mitigations.
  • You will maintain a detailed understanding of NHS Contracting mechanisms and the future of NHS Commissioning.
  • You will be aligned with Circle’s regional structure to advise and educate hospital teams to understand the requirements and deliverables of the NHS. You will be their trusted expert.
  • You will support hospital and regional teams to develop and foster excellent relationships with NHS organisations.
  • You will support hospitals through the negotiation of NHS contracts.
  • You understand and can explain the boundaries between private and NHS funded health care.  
  • You will work with commercial functions across CHG to educate and disseminate NHS requirements.
