Salary: up to £32,175 plus benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team of staff. 

This is a full time role at 37.5 hours a week across flexible shift patterns to meet the needs to the team. Hours 07:45-15:45, 12:30-20:30, occasional Saturdays

Ridgeway Hospital is located just a short distance from the town of Swindon. It is close to beautiful countryside and the market town of Marlborough. The Hospital is close to junction 16 of the M4 and there are public transport links nearby. 

We are a busy department of 10 Consulting Rooms and a Minor Operations/Treatment Room. We take pride in being the front window of the Ridgeway. You will be joining the team in the advent of further improvements with an extension and will assist in the growing of the Outpatient business.

What we require? 

  • Valid NMC Registration
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development
  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or
    Registered Nurse Level 2  - Relevant Competencies for the role.
    Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
    Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
    RGN with experience in Outpatients, Treatment room and Minor Ops

Duties of this role include: 

  • To assist the OPD Sister in the day to day running of the Treatment Room, Minor Ops and 10 busy clinic rooms.
  • To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users.
  • As a skilled member of the nursing team promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
    Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
    Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
