Up to £65.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Doctor to join the medical team at the Alexandra hospital.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in Medicine (MB.Ch.B, MBBS, MD etc.)
  • Fully registered with the General Medical Council with License to Practice (GMC)
  • Up to date clinical experience and skills in A & E or a Walk-in Centre
  • Has held a clinical post for vast amount of years since primary medical qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Attendance of mandatory training sessions
  • Proactive and motivated to deliver high standards of medical care
  • An in date ILS and PILS certificate essential,  ALS/EPLS desirable

Duties of this role include: 

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients in an private walk-in care setting.
  • Provide high-quality medical care with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our healthcare services.
  • Completion of specialty training in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • To ensure that high standards of patient care are maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies, as a skilled member of the hospital team.
  • To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients and hospital personnel.
