This is a full-time role at 37.5 hours a week across flexible shift patterns.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Degree educated
- Proven influencing and sales skills
- MS Office particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Understanding of clinical performance metrics
- Previous use of Customer Relationship Management software
Duties of this role include:
- In line with the central sales and marketing plan and the hospital’s annual business plan, work in conjunction with the Regional Head of Marketing, the Executive Director and other members of the senior management team to devise and implement a sales and marketing strategy, which ensures the delivery of budgeted activity across all payor groups
- Produce and maintain the hospital sales and marketing tactical action plan, detailing key initiatives which will drive sales performance
- Produce and maintain monthly and other regular reports monitoring sales and marketing performance, identifying trends and acting upon them appropriately
- Manage the self-pay pricing department to ensure the Patient Liaison Officer(s) are focussed on sales targets and that consumer enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively with empathy and competence in order to reassure and maximise conversion
- Ensure the Patient Liaison Officer adheres to the sales process to maximise sales conversions, making sure all staff make full use of all internal systems to capture data, manage the sales pipeline and create all necessary reports
- Provide a clear picture of the self-pay enquiry and opportunity pipeline through analysis and reporting from the PowerBI dashboards. Understand the end-to-end self-pay sales funnel at site level and identify any areas for improvement to drive further conversion.
- Oversee the development of an online content plan across all social media in conjunction with national marketing to include news and patient stories, features, areas of specialty, relevant digital display advertising and other paid advertising
