Circle Health Group’s The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor has a fixed term contract vacancy for a Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy Department full time, 15.5 hours a week part time from mid October 2023. The hours would be spread over 2-3 days, and would include one evening until 8pm.
We are a busy physiotherapy department looking for an experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to work in our outpatient department. This job would be ideal for someone who has established clinical skills and knowledge in pelvic health including pelvic floor dysfunction pre and post op, prolapse, ante and postnatal care, MSK related pelvic pain, bladder and bowel disorders and dysfunction and pelvic pain. We also treat male patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction and pelvic pain.
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking hospital treating patients referred by consultants and GP’s and self-referrals.
We have other specialist Physiotherapists offering treatments in hand therapy, paediatrics, pelvic health, gait analysis, neurology and vestibular. Our pelvic health physiotherapist would be able to support your role and work alongside you.
You will receive a full induction and benefit from access to our extensive local and national in-service training program.
Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists will also be considered for this role with a competitive salary offered
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Chartered Physiotherapist with vast postgraduate general Physiotherapy experience and relevant experience in a more specialist area.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
- Degree level educated, or equivalent.
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
Duties of this role include:
- To manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard. Ensuring excellent patient care is promoted within the hospital
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and outpatients.
- To provide surgical pre-operative assessment for all patients working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
- To provide clinical direction for other physiotherapy staff within the team.
- To provide excellent customer service and promote a professional and caring environment.
