Circle Health Group is Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. 

We have an opportunity for an Application Lead to join their team of staff in the Group IT department based in our Head Office in London, Cannon Street. 

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Significant (5+ years) of working across the Microsoft product stack including: -
  • Microsoft Power Platform - Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
  • Office 365 - SharePoint and MS Teams - Manage the MS Teams structure including site owners and utilisation and tidy the existing teams
  • HTML5/CSS
  • Git (in Azure DevOps)
  • in a professional, service-oriented IT team within large (~£500M+ annual revenue, 10,000+ end-users, 40+ different locations) organisations
  • Strong (3+ years) Experience in assisting with audits and reviews of the environment and recommended changes e.g. CIS Benchmarking, Pen testing
  • Strong (3+ years) Experience in ownership and management of security settings to advise on changes requested
  • RPA knowledge and experience with at least one platform provider
  • Strong (3+ years) Experience in working in a team management capacity with an onshore/offshore model of development
  • Strong (3+ years) experience of logical/IT problem solving and application analysis skill.
  • Degree level education or equivalent (or equivalent experience).

Duties of this role include:

  • The Application Lead will ensure that IT applications and related services are able to support the business process effectively and efficiently.
  • They will work alongside the Application Support and Database teams and key business stakeholders to deliver solutions in accordance with any defined legal, regulatory or “best practice” standards and policies.
  • They are responsible for proactively identifying any IT Applications, end-user or data quality issues and/or potential improvements, identifying options and then delivering solutions to agreed timescales or SLAs.
  • They will be required to manage the handoff and subsequent delivery of development work with third party flexible resources
  • Review high-level requirements and perform system analysis in preparation for providing estimates
  • Work closely with business analysts to gather and create system, functional, and operational requirements
  • Analyse existing systems and understand system constraints to recommend technical solutions that meet the business requirements
