Circle Health Group's training programmes

To support all employees to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours including working towards relevant, valuable qualifications we launched a suite of national training programmes that have been designed to develop core skills and behaviours in key areas including management, nursing and customer service.

Circle Health Group Academy aims to provide appropriate, tailored and effective training and development at all levels. This is so that:

• All new employees are introduced to the company in a supportive way

• Employees are prepared for their roles and ready to take advantage of promotional opportunities that may arise, and
• Employees are encouraged to acquire additional skills and qualifications, which will assist them in their career with the company.

The Circle Health Group Academy covers all learning and people development activity at Circle Health Group.

We believe that talent should be nurtured at every level. All staff are encouraged to access courses and content through our bespoke learning management system called the Learning Space.

We recognise that our employees are our greatest assets. The correct recruitment and induction processes are vital in ensuring that new employees become effective workers in the shortest time possible.
We help our new employees to become productive members of staff through induction and training.

These are shared alongside role and site-specific inductions, and everyone will have a buddy to help and support them. It’s important to us that all new employees are inducted appropriately.
We offer a range of university accredited, internally delivered qualifications. Whether you are just starting your career or are ready to develop to master level, we will support you with a wide range of courses.

There are a variety of learning paths available. We offer courses and modules tailored to your role, experience and goals.

For each role, Circle Health Group provides a comprehensive range of training deemed necessary (and therefore mandatory) for the job. Much of our mandatory training is delivered through e-learning. We are aligned to a core skills framework with NHS learning (from Skills for Health), which ensures that our mandatory training is recognised by specialist bodies.

Circle Health Group has offered apprenticeships since 2017. We encourage people of all ages to join Circle Health Group and gain valuable qualifications and skills through our apprenticeships.

We run our own bespoke Circle Health Group apprenticeships in healthcare and leadership and management. We can support your career and aspiration by offering you knowledge, skills and qualifications at all levels.

We support many apprenticeship standards and the opportunities for learning are across multiple fields.
Ensuring you’re equipped to be a successful manager is part of what we do. We have a framework to develop you as a manager.We link our programmes to the Institute of Leadership and Management, enabling our managers to build their management skills and gain a qualification at the same time. Our programmes support all the skills a new manager requires to work with their teams at Circle Health Group. This includes leadership and team building, understanding essential HR practices, how to use Circle Health Group systems, and Health and Safety.

Each year, Circle Health Group supports highly motivated, ambitious managers to undertake a leadership degree. There is also an opportunity to complete an MBA or up to Level 7 Leadership qualification.
