We have an opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our team of staff in the Business Development team.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. This role is for a fixed term period of 12 Months only.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience in a similar position
- Experience as a bid writer preferably within the healthcare industry
- Experience in writing and winning bids within healthcare services
- Degree or equivalent
- Research experience to support bid pipeline overview
- Understanding of community and secondary care clinical pathways
- Knowledge of public sector tender processes
- Ability to demonstrate involvement in successful bids
Duties of this role include:
- Read and understand all bid documentation, including detailed service specifications
- Ensure compliance with all requirements outlined in requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other bid documents
- Write and edit high quality content for bids within deadlines, checking for accuracy, coherence, and consistency
- Collate documentation to support bid submissions
- Proactively engage and manage relationships with a network of SMEs to ensure high quality and relevant clinical/technical information and timely submissions
- Process and translate technical information into readable, engaging prose
- Ensure continuity and ‘win themes’ are evident throughout all bid documents
- Write and develop presentations for client-facing meetings and market engagements
- Attend and contribute to bid kick-off meetings
- Support the monitoring of daily tender email alerts
- Manage and develop the bid library
- Support the Business Development Team with ad-hoc activities as required
