Circle Decontamination - St Radlett
30 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £24,032.00 FTE per year
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across the Southeast of England. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.

We have an opportunity for a Driver to join their team of staff.
This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover an afternoon shift of 6 hours a day over 5 days.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience of driving vans with tail lifts.
- Previous experience of driving in all conditions and must be comfortable in potentially challenging road situations.
- A valid driving license for the UK with a clean driving record - every employee driving on behalf of the business must submit their driving license on an annual basis for a DVLA check.
- You must hold a clean B license to operate vans up to and including 3.5t.
- A good level of general education.
- The ability to undertake lifting duties as required.
Duties of this role include:
- You provide a reliable and courteous delivery / pick-up service to CHG Hospital Decontamination customers with safety a top priority.
- You provide a communication link between customers and the unit workforce (where necessary and appropriate).
- You operate and maintain assigned vehicle(s); and maintain vehicle and any other assigned records.
- You provide a service by collecting ‘dirty’ trolleys from hospitals and clinics, delivering them to the decontamination facility located at CHG Priory and returning ‘clean’ trolleys with reprocessed scopes back to the hospitalsClinics.
- You participate in the delivery of a first-class decontamination service to the Operating Theatres, nursing and any other relevant departments.
- You assist the production staff with support duties including stores management and departmental cleaning.
- You maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist in keeping it in good working order.
- You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
