Circle Decontamination - Radlett
20 Hours & Permanent
Salary: £25,354.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across the Southeast of England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.
We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Housekeeping department.
This is a part-time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- You provide a first-class Housekeeping Service to the Decontamination Unit to support the overall production process and to aid the unit in providing a qualitative service to its customers.
- You ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the required level of cleanliness.
- You ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and available for use.
- You assist the production staff with supporting duties including stores management.
- You maintain good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders of the job role.
- You maintain good working relationships with all customers internal and external to CHG.
- You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Competency in literacy and numeracy
- Good Communication skills
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
