We have an opportunity for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join their team of staff in the Group IT department.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern, Monday to Friday.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Significant (7+ years); experience supporting a medium/large organisation (~£500M+ annual revenue, 6,000+ end-users, 40+ sites, 4000+ support calls per month).
  • Relevant ITIL qualifications (foundation, Practitioner & Intermediate).
  • Strong (5+ years) knowledge and experience of IT Service or Service Delivery Management.
  • Strong (5+ years) practical working experience of the implementation and management of ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Strong (5+ years) experience of ITSM tools.
  • Good (3+ years) level of IT technical knowledge (architecture, infrastructure, EUC etc.).
  • Good (3+ years) experience of managing stakeholders, vendors, 3rd parties and managed service providers.

Duties of this role include:

  • The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of IT services to colleagues, stakeholders, and patients.
  • They play a crucial role in maintaining high service levels, guiding service teams, and optimizing processes.
  • To act as a principal contact and link between business and IT service delivery, streamlining the organisation's processes to ensure all departments work together to deliver seamless IT service.
  • Understand the health, performance and availability of the services that you are responsible for and drive continuous service improvement.
  • Be responsible for service changes, service introduction, optimising delivery of these to reduce service interruption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, understanding needs and aligning service delivery accordingly.
  • Collaborate and influence colleagues to ensure delivery and adoption of effective Service Delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the delivery of major IT projects and change programmes.
