The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. 

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.  If you have some ward experience and are looking for additional income or to grow your experience in the private setting, we would like to hear from you. 

We are a dynamic and forward thinking hospital running a MAKO robotic orthopaedic centre for joint replacement surgery. The Physiotherapy Department offers inpatient services to orthopaedic, general surgical, general medical and oncology patients. 

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Hours will be variable and flexible however will mainly cover weekends working with orthopaedic and elective surgery inpatients.

Duties of this role include:

  • Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
  • Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
  • Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
  • Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to team working and service improvement.
