We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team of staff in the IT department.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Significant (5+ years) experience in Business Analysis within large (~£500M+ annual revenue, 10,000+ end-users, 40+ different locations) organisations, delivering large scale business change 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations that may require tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to bring clarity to requirements that are vague, incomplete or ambiguous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Duties of this role include:

  • Lead the engagement with project stakeholders to define the scope of potential projects and elicit requirements using a variety of techniques eg workshop, document analysis, interviews
  • Lead the engagement with business stakeholders and project teams to validate new requirements for IT systems and business process change 
  • Responsible to lead and schedule requirements workshops
  • Review, collation, analysis, categorisation of business requirements.
  • Lead the engagement with business stakeholders and project teams to prioritise business requirements according to documented criteria
  • Ensure completeness, consistency, comprehensibility of requirements ensuring regulatory impacts are understood.
  • Lead business stakeholders through walkthroughs of requirements to ensure understanding and obtain sign-off
