We have an opportunity for a Clinical Governance Co-ordinator to join their team of staff in the National Clinical Team based at Head Office - London.

This is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week. This is for a fixed term period of 6 months 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Educated to degree level ‘or equivalent level of education or training’ in a relevant subject
  • Knowledge of Clinical Audit
  • Ability to write professional reports to a high standard which require consolidating complex information from a variety of sources and achieving a consensus
  • Proficient skills in excel and word/powerpoint
  • Experience of working in a Health Care setting
  • Experience of delivering highly accurate and detailed reports
  • Experience of investigating clinical incidents in a Health Care setting using root cause analysis process

Duties of this role include:

  • To support and co-ordinate clinical audit programmes
  • To support in the co-ordination of clinical incidents.
  • Provide support to the clinical incident management programme
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to systems and processes for the identification, appropriate investigation, reporting, and learning from clinical incidents, including Near Misses, incidents resulting in harm (moderate and serious incidents), and Never Events.
  • Support the clinical performance team.
  • Develop and produce reporting.
