We have an opportunity for an IBM Integration Developer to join their team of staff in the Group IT department.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. You must be willing to travel to London

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • You have strong experience with IBM integration products such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM API Connect and IBM MQ
  • You are proficient in developing message flows, message sets and data transformations.
  • You have strong knowledge of programming languages such as ESQL, Java and JavaScript.
  • You have experience with XML, XSLT, Xpath and JSON for data transformation and manipulation.
  • You have an excellent understanding of integration patterns and best practices as well as experience with designing and implementing APIs, Web services (SOAP/REST) and messaging solutions.
  • You have strong skills across unit testing, integration testing and debugging with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
  • You have a good working knowledge of performance tuning and optimisation techniques for integration solutions and using relevant monitoring and logging tools.

Duties of this role include:

  • You design and develop integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM API Connect (APIC) and IBM MQ.
  • You create and maintain integration servers and nodes, applications, message flows and data transformations to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
  • You are familiar with HL7, API and FHIR, TCP connections, HTTP protocols, ESQL and SQL and other basic methods of integration.
  • You work closely with architecture and development teams, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of integration solutions.
  • You ensure that integration solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You stay updated with the latest developments in IBM integration technologies and best practices.
  • You create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration designs, configurations, support and processes.
