Circle Technology are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to enhance our design capabilities in cloud and infrastructure with the move to Azure cloud, OCI and introduction of EMR. 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Significant (5+ years) experience within digital & IT operations within large (~£500M+ annual revenue, 10,000+ end-users, 40+ different locations) organisation.
  • Significant (5+ years) experience in operational infrastructure technology including: Network Infrastructure, Server, Cloud and Hosting Solutions, Firewall and Security Design, Voice Systems, EUC Systems, Load Balancing, VPN and Remote Access Technologies, Central management platforms, Logical design and capacity planning.
  • Significant (5+ years) experience in solution architecture within complex networks, enterprise server, cloud, voice systems and EUC technologies - including designing cloud-based solutions, ideally Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Good (3+ years) experience of enterprise architecture, presentation, design and documentation including designing solutions derived from standards and templates.

Duties of this role include:

  • Lead and promote the strategic design and delivery of excellent, strategic and tactical cost-effective IT architecture, infrastructure solutions and services throughout all Circle Health Group locations nationwide, across both the clinical and corporate functions.
  • Work within the Architecture and IT Technical Solutions Team and closely with IT Infrastructure and Operations Leads, Security Team, Corporate Teams, 3rd party providers, contracted resources and managed service partners - ensuring the operational suitability, design, integration and security of IT services on a day-to-day basis.
  • The role requires detailed knowledge of a broad set of operational and infrastructure technologies including (but not limited to) Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies, network infrastructure, enterprise server technology, firewalls, VPNs, remote access systems, datacentre infrastructure, protocols and services, load balancing, voice systems, centralised monitoring, deployment technologies and integration systems.
